Formed from the ashes of
guitarist/songwriter/founder/mastermind Billy Garcia's previous bands, Forsakken was born into
existence during the summer of 2002 in the mean streets of Washington Heights,
New York City. A natural evolution for the Dominican-American axeman, Forsakken is a New Wave of Traditional Metal(NWOTM) band layered
with ruthless riffs, devlish fantasy lyrics, and silencing shreds that could only be known as evil.
The Band is rounded out by the aggressive steel assault of Jackie Smith on Vocals, the No Nonsense Sinister Thumpings of Darryl Olthoff on Bass, and the Psycho Poundings of Jeffrey Ditaranto on drums. The band has recorded and a release will be announced soon.
