Since Junior High, Jaime, John, and I (Mike) have been playing music with each other. John and Jaime were the first to start a band. That began when John started talking to Jaime on MSN and asked him to come over with his drum set. Jaime then showed up with only a snare drum and they played "Swing Swing" by All-American Rejects and thought that it was perfect. Then in high school, Jaime and myself began playing music. One day Jaime came up to me asking if I wanted to play with him and John. I met John and we hit it off pretty well. He'd come over to my house and play guitar with me and we'd write what we could. The three of us played in a few bands with ourselves and a couple of other people off and on. Then my senior year of high school, Jaime and myself started doing pop punk in a band called Green Beret Bob. After I moved to college, Green Beret Bob slowly became no more. With a clever name already in store, Jaime came up to me wanting to reignite the pop-punk fire and so we started For Sale By Owner. We started writing music, but we were still in need of a bass player. John, being our best friend and band-mate forever, was the man we needed. He always played guitar with us, so we weren't sure what he would think about playing bass. I called him asking him if he'd be interested in doing it, and without pause, he said yes. Within a couple days, he learned four songs, and rewrote the bass parts, making them better. Almost immediately after learning the songs, he showed us a song which is now called 'In All Due Respect.' After we finished that song we started to finally find the style and direction we wanted to go. We began playing shows and having more fun than we could have possibly imagined. Without Jaime or John, I'd be nowhere. Without our parents, we'd also be nowhere. And finally, without our friends that have attended almost every show, listened to all our songs, and supported us through everything we've done, we again, would be nowhere. So we thank all of you.
