Hey Folks, this page is for fans of Dan Karslakes's new documentary "For the Bible Tells Me So" and although Dan knows it's here, it is NOT, I REPEAT NOT, an official site for the movie. I had nothing to do with making the movie and no stake in it at all financial or otherwise. To contact Dan Karslake and the folks responsible for making the movie go to their website at www.FortheBibleTellsMeSo.org. Click Here
Anyway, back to the film. This provocative and often times very moving documentary takes a serious look at the intersection between Christianity and Homosexuality through a series of interviews with Christian families and their gay/lesbian family members.
The film was a big hit at the Sundance film festival this year and it won a special award for Human Rights at the 2007 Full Frame documentary film festival. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to catch a pre-release screening of it here in D.C. and to meet the film maker Dan Karslake. No matter how you feel about this polarizing and politically charged issue, I think it's really a worthwhile film to see.
I put this page up because I think it's an important topic for our society to continue talk about and I think this film is a an excellent starting point for a national conversation. So, join us as a friend and help spread the word about a film that really needs to be seen--particularly in the "Red States"! Peace Folks. Support Indie Films!!!

I just got home from seeing FTBTMS! What a powerful, thought provoking and well made documentary! I truly hope this film does more than just "preach to the choir". HBO? PBS? Carry the message to the people who need it!
Awesome film. I also just saw it tonight the Quad Cinema in NYC. And I was fortunate enough to catch the 7:20 showing w/ the Q & A session afterward that included the filmmaker and two of the parents starring in the film. Everyone in America should see this film.
FTBTMS Fans - Please check out the film's trailer on our profile and give it your kudos and comments! We are really trying to drum up the dialog before the theatrical opening here in NY! Thanks!
