The Jack Daniel's Forth Valley Blues Festival
will be held on Saturday 20th March 2010
at the Forth Recreation Ground, Forth, Tasmania
Continuing the usual traditional arrangement of holding the Festival on the third (3rd) Saturday of March every year, the 13th annual Jack Daniel's Forth Valley Blues Festival will be held on Saturday 20th March 2010 at the Forth Recreation Ground, with thirteen (13) hours of great continuous Blues Music.
All the usual attractions of FREE CAMPING on the Saturday night, a GREAT RANGE OF FOOD, MUSIC & OTHER STALLS, BAR FACILITIES, MOTORBIKE SHOW & SHINE COMPETITION, SUNDAY BREAKFASTS and MUCH MORE will be available as always. There is merchandise on sale for everyone, and a relaxed atmosphere is guaranteed!
We are also proud to announce our ongoing major sponsor is Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey who are continuing to support live music in Australia.
The inception of the festival was the result of a conversation between Chris & Maureen Bramich, proprietors of the famous Bridge Hotel, Forth, and blues musician and regular performer at the Bridge, Brian Fraser.
The rest is history!
The festival is run by a committee of volunteers from the local community with profits being directed into community organisations.
