  • Bio

Fortune Dwellers was an original pop/soul/jazz/alternative band based out of Seattle, Washington. Fortune Dwellers disbanded in November of 2012, after just over two years of playing together. The group broke up mostly because it became too difficult to get all six members together in the same room. The band was very much driven by the songwriting of Katelyn Berreth. Their songs incorporate a wide variety of musical styles but always maintain their pop sensibility. Katelyn Berreth spent the summer of 2010 recording and producing the album Schizophonic. The band was born out of the album. Sadly Fortune Dwellers broke up before an album could truly be born out of the band. Still good tunes though... Dig 'em!
