For What It’s Worth – “This Vicious Circle” ..The best way to describe the sound of For What It’s Worth is to compare the gritty stand out vocals of Jenn Kitten to that of Joan Jett accompanied by a solid backdrop of hard hitting, but melodic punk rock bands such as Ten Foot Pole or Face to Face of the early 90’s. Another standout of FWIW is the great basslines that really make this music train chug ahead with intensity. This album has been a labor of love filled with blood, sweat, & tears for FWIW. They’ve been working on this release for about 2 years. They had problems holding onto drummers, a tough time finding a label to release the album, along with the normal trials and tribulations that life throws at you. For What It’s Worth found themselves without a label and little money and dug deep into their punk rock roots and just put this 18 track album DIY. This Vicious Circle is jam packed with deeply heartfelt and emotional lyrics that punch you in the mouth and kick you in the stomach with energy. The album is pure energy from the first song “You can make this whole mess better” to the amazing cover of “I Remember You” (Skid Row). Along with some great new songs such as “10 Years Wasted” & “Last Night In LA”, there are a few unforgettable re-recorded tracks that finish out the album that FWIW previously released on their demo CD such as “Evelyn” & “In a Room So Red”. Really you can’t go wrong with any song on this album, there all intense, there all packed with more energy than a 12 pack of Redbull, and there all well worth checking out right now. www.myspace.com/forwhatitsworthri.. .. .. .. .. ..Click on the picture to Download this FREE Compilation/Sampler............ .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... .. .. .. .. .. ...... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..

    Hey, thanks for the add!

We're pretty new, and just looking for some feedback, so if you have some time, go just check us out and let us know what you think! Our influences include Rancid, Mighty Bosstones, Far from Finished, and Flatfoot 56, so if you like any of those guys, give us a quick listen.

We're gonna have a demo cd, stickers, etc. soon and we'll be giving some of it away for free, so keep your head out if you like what you hear.

    Thanks for your time,
    Corey from TRC

When a band like For What It's Worth lands on the scene, you're glad to know these bands still exist. With a DIY attitude, they work hard to pay their dues. When you go to a FWIW show, it's refreshing to see a band that just wants to have fun and get their music out to as many people as possible without caring about the latest fashion or how much eyeliner the guys are wearing.

This three piece band plays fast, melodic punk rock in the vein of ALL/Decendents and Face To Face , The Gits, Tilt.
