Interests - hmmmmm - I play
on the computer all the time - and whatever my interests are at the
moment, I always enjoy researching and finding the best deal on about
anything from tractor parts to lcd screens to actually getting a free
ipod or looking for different ways to make a little additional income to
my richly endowed profession of dairy farming (that's sarcasm for those
of you who actually DO think dairy farmers are rich!). Mostly I love
working with multimedia, whether it be making websites or creating dvd's
or simply downloading new freeware programs and trying to enhance my
computer or new tech news and toys.
I
also like taking pictures - like the infamous squirrels that live on the
campus of Kansas State University.
Check out some of the websites
I've been working on:
Check out the wallpapers I made
in Photoshop while at K-State!
Of course my lifelong
passion (as long as it can support a living) will be farming.
Nice Teats, eh!!!

Music
..
..
Of course - I grew up on
country - favorite groups being Diamond Rio - I love Rascal Flats and Jo
Dee Messina but I also like variety - I know quite a few oldies and I
listen to a lot of pop. Probably the strangest thing for people to learn
that don't know me is how a dairy farmer can know soooo much
rap/hip-hop/r&b music. My excuse is that I'm a drummer and really like
the rythms - but I like the lyrics for their stimulating speed and
repetition - not because of their merit or high moral testaments to
society.
..
..
Movies
..
..
..
lately - there hasn't been any
good ones - I loved the Matrix (thus my choice for my current
background) I like watching movies a lot, though.
..
..
Television
..
..
I love 24 with Keifer Sutherland
- I was a huge Alias follower - I got wrapped up in this year's season
of So You Think You Can Dance (no - I don't think I can)
..
..
Books
..
..
unless it's an e-book about
something I want to learn about - the Internet is the only place I
"read" anything! I hate reading a book (not to say I don't highly regard
the value of reading in the earlier development stages)
..
..
Heroes
..
..
Heroes - are people in my mind
that have taken a stand for something they believe in when it was the
most difficult thing to do. I believe that one man can and has proven
that he can make a difference - and I'm not talking about the One who
walked the earth for a short while and now reigns in Heaven - My Lord -
Jesus Christ! I'm talking about the multitude of people who have said
they weren't going to follow the rest of the crowd because they knew it
wasn't right and stood up for it.

About me: I now have a video uploaded - check it out. Although it's of my brother.
Also a video uploaded of K-State's Department of Agriculture on Good Morning America.
I'm a dairyman. I work very hard but also take great pride and enjoyment out of challenging myself to what I can do and how I can improve my own family's business. I am very diversified in my interests and what I can do because I've always just wanted to do about everything. My primary interests besides the dairy would have to be multimedia - the internet - working with video/dvd/websites etc.
Met my wife, Addi, at Fort Scott Community College - got married July 7th, 2001. She graduated from K-State as well in Music Education (Violin) in 2005. She just started her first year of teaching at Pittsburg, KS middle school orchestra and I'm home permanently as a full-time dairyman. My wife & I have 2 kids, Ansley, almost 2, and Mayla, 6 weeks.
