Photography, Art in general, being bossy, cleaning my pool-hey, it relaxes me! Drinking good wine, hanging out with my friends, playing poker with my son, listening to my husband tell me stories about his day at work, reading a good book.....

CSI, Medium, Supernatural, Charmed, Ghost Hunters, Meercat Manor. I have been watching AMC for 20 plus years, I watched it in high school, and I still Tivo it to this day
Books
Pretty much anything that moves me at the moment, I like to be scared, like old Stephen King. I get good shivers from Kay Hooper, I like the fanasy worlds of J.R.R Tolkien.
Heroes
My hero is my husband, Jim! He runs into burning buildings when everyone else is running out. He continues to amaze me, in our daily lives also, he works full time and goes to school at night to get his degree. All the while taking care of Jack and me. I love you Jimmy!

About me: I am a photographer and I absolutly love it. Art is a big part of my life. I like to be inspired by everyday things, like rain, playing, animals and children.
I love to capture moments in time, a view of the world that only can be seen through my eyes. I try to find beauty in all I see. Take notice of all the little things that so many take for granted. Nature and animals facinate me, there is so much out there if you only take the time to notice.
My husband is a firefighter, so I have been very lucky to get inside burning buildings to take shots that both scare me and thrill me at the same time. Seeing what they do up close and personal is a wonder, these brave men and women are both heros and crazy at the same time. They are my idols for sure.
I have to say though, that my favorite subject is my ten year old son, Jack. He is playful, messy, dramatic, smart, funny...you get the drift. It is never dull in my house, and I would not have it any other way.......
Who I'd like to meet: Albert Einstein, just give me 30 minutes to see what he thinks about the "M" Theory, Elvis, Anne Leibovitz, Keanu Reeves(kiss, kiss), Abe Lincoln and My Great Grandmother, Minnie Tom.

thanks!! school is going really great! ive learned so much already and ive only been in school for 3 weeks, kinda crazy. but its amazing out here! soooo beautiful and there are trees EVERYWHERE. so much different from back home in IL but its a nice change, i dont mind it one bit. hope all is well over there and let everyone know i said hi =)

Hey Sue! I actually just got back from Florida yesterday. But if you have any openings for next weekend, I'd love to come and work. My sister's graduation party is tomorrow, and I would like it if any of you guys could make it. I'll stop by work tomorrow though, and say hi. Love ya!!!
I may be able to revive the phone...maybe. I just had it up and running for a bit before the screen went again. I feel lost without it because I had all my current stuff in there...I just got some of it at least! :)
