Combining buffoonery, intricate dance choreography, drag queens, slapstick, and cheap bourbon, the Fou Fou HA! Dancing girls are a band of mayhem-makers like no other. Their performances always cause laughter and excitement (and at times a bit of brain damage), and you'll never know what brilliant spectacle they will think of next! Described as a cross between the Cockettes, Venetian Carnival clowns and Dr. Seuss, Fou Fou HA! performs to music ranging from Mambo to German Pop, from the Muppets to Balkan beats. They love collaborating with local performance troupes such as Rosin coven, Dr. Abacus, Gooferman and the Vau de Vire society, and are a fabulous addition to any event, whether as walk around characters or a full show! Their performances have been seen at many venues in the bay area, including the Fillmore, the Great American Music Hall, the Regency Ballroom, Ruby Sky, 975 howard, the DNA lounge, Club CoComo, Shoreline Aphitheater, Counterpulse, Burning Man, the Crucible Steel Gallery, 848 Community Theater, Dance Mission, SomArts, the Concourse Pavilion, Dogpatch Studios, Dance Ground Keriac, Cell Space, Café van Kleef and the Garage.
