For every atrocity, there shall be vengeance. There is but one path, all others lead to ruin. You are either an ally, or you are an enemy, there is no middle ground.

Cheers my friend. Just passing to wish you a great day. Sharing a cold one with your friends is some of the most fun you can have with you pants on !!! "Fear no beer" and always, Rock Hard... Timo kaarkoski - Temple of Sin
Regarding the ticket prices for Motherlode, perhaps the real perception is that two dollars per band is not unreasonable ...
...
and the cost of putting on a major show is considerable, security,
location, staging, lights, sound, radio advertising, print advertising,
posters, bands, [some of whom have to travel - which means hotels],
port-o-potties etc etc etc - it's not like a Sundance show where the
production cost basically amounts to getting some fliers printed.
Beer
at any other substantial event is $8 to $10. The prices at 'Lode will
be $2 [PBR] $3 [Bud] and $4 for other brews. There has been a serious
effort to keep prices down, all around.
The success of the day
would mean a lot to fans of metal, and to the town. And to the bands
that get to play. This is something that we should hope becomes an
annual event. It would be good for everyone. This could put the Arizona
mountain rock n roll scene on the map, and provide opportunities for
regional talent.
Lets make it work and have a great day, and
look forward to shooting a 'Lode every year! Oh yeah, bring cans for
the Yavapai food bank.
