Prior to my new life at FIM, I spent my time providing strategy and direction as the CCO for Sidereus Technology, the co-owner and VP/Experience architect for Talisman Creative and owner of two successful businesses, Synstelien Design and SynFonts. Currently, I'm working on starting something new based on Twitter and the iPhone. Because MySpace is old and busted ;-)
I've co-authored, written introductions for and been featured in a number of books on the subjects of usability, interface and type design.
I spend most of my time tilting at windmills, trying to save the world. Quite frankly, if it wasn't for the fact that I've been a competitive fencer for a number of years, I think the windmills would win. Occasionally, we were asked to do other things, most of which I can't talk about at all, but one of the projects my team produced was the official MySpace iPhone app.
Who I'd like to meet:
Anyone with a unique combination of humor, tenacity, risk tolerance, entrepreneurial spirit, Midwestern work ethics and quality skill with a Nerf gun or otherinter-office assault toy. Oh.. And a pirate or two. ;-)
