   About The Foundation
The Foundation performs for both public and private events in venues in and around the Chattanooga area. You can catch the band performing classic rock and blues with a personal flare. The Foundation is headed up by front man Mike Harris whom is a Chattanooga based musician / Vocalist with over 25 years of experience to his credit. Harris began his professional career at the early age of 16 playing in Folk / Bluegrass venues around the county with apperance's on Nashville's WSM Radio and the world famous Grand-Ol-Opry. Mike Harris's distinctive guitar work and vocals are made up of several different styles of music from Folk & Bluegrass to Adult Contemporay mixed with the sounds of the Delta Blues. His natural baritone voice help him delivery heart felt ballads. Harris has worked on several music projects throughout the year's and has been the opening act for numerous headliners. Be sure to watch the calendar to see where Mike may be performing his solo unplugged act or where the full band may be performing at next. In either scenerio you will be totally impressed. If you are interested in booking Mike Harris as a solo act or booking the band for your next event private or public please visit our website for contact information.

FREE Music Mastering ! We just picked up some new mastering speakers and would like to put them to the test. We are going to give out FREE mastering sessions. Feel free to submit 1 song for our consideration and if we accept the work we will notify you before we start work on your song. Each song will take approximately 1 day so please give us some time to complete the work. What should you send? This is the most important part. 1. No crappy recordings. If it sounds bad to start with I cannot help. The recording must be commercial quality. 2. There must not be ANY compression or LIMITING on the final mix. If you do not know what this is then talk to the engineer that did the work. If he does not know what that is then call me. Your mix should be very very bouncy and it should NOT go into the RED at any point. Distortion in the overall mix is Baaaaaaaaaaad. 3. I will not accept MP3's. This is one of the worst formats to work in and the sound quality is terrible. Regardless of how much it is used it is bad. Trust me. We need either a WAVE or a AIF file. Not an MP3 that has been converted BACK into a better file but a file that started out as a WAVE or AIF and is still that format. 4. Feel free to ZIP the file to save space. 5. If you cannot email your file I can give you some alternatives ways to send me the songs. 6. I need your honest feedback after the work is done. Not "It will work" or "it sounds ok". I need feedback. Mastering is an art and I have been doing it for 25 years. I appreciate feedback and I like working with new artist and new genres of music. If you are interested just send me your info and music to kctt@mac.com All the LOVE. Bob

FREE Music Mastering !

We just picked up some new mastering speakers and would like to put them to the test. We are going to give out FREE mastering sessions for artist. Feel free to submit 1 song for our consideration and if we accept the work we will notify you before we start work on your song. Each song will take approximately 1 day each so please give us some time to complete the work. We will only take the first 10 projects.

What should you send?

This is the most important part.

1. No crappy recordings. If it sounds bad to start with I cannot help. If the recording is bad I will not work on the project so dont get your feelings hurt if I refuse to do your song.

1a. The recording must be from a commercial studio. No home recordings please. If the mixing and sound is not good I cant do anything to help the tracks.

Not an MP3 that has been converted BACK into a better file but a file that started out as a WAVE or AIF and is stil lin that format. Trust me.
I can tell !

4. Feel free to ZIP the file to save space.

5. If you cannot email your file I can give you some alternative ways to send me the songs.
