Joe Pickett and Nick Prueher began collecting found videotapes in 1991 after stumbling across a training video entitled, “Inside and Outside Custodial Duties” in a McDonald’s break room. Since then, they have compiled an impressive collection of strange, outrageous and profoundly stupid videos. Pickett and Prueher, whose credits include The Onion and the Late Show with David Letterman, recently directed the feature-length documentary, Dirty Country, which won the 24 Beats Per Second Audience Award at the 2007 South By Southwest Film Festival.
About me: Found Footage Festival is a one-of-a-kind event that showcases footage from videos that were found at garage sales and thrift stores and in warehouses and dumpsters throughout the country. Curators Joe Pickett and Nick Prueher host each screening in-person and provide their unique observations and commentary on these found video obscurities.

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.
I encourage all to visit the YouTube page to learn more (Show support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly circulate as widely as possible, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4

Just found out today by doin' a Google search that I'm in Vol. #3. They're screening #4 at the loft this Saturday & invited me (they said they love my show) & will give me a free #3. Wonder what I'm doin'/saying? . . . they could make an hour long-video of all the funny faces I make (unintentionally) on the show, lol.
Just caught your show at Cine in Athens---absolutely hilarious. Definately gonna keep an eye out for ya'll to come back to GA soon. Keep up the great work.
