Influences
From My Upcoming Album:
Pete Yorn is still a huge influence, perhaps too much and I may get caught stealing a melody or two from time to time - but he rocks so I can't help it.
Coldplay - another big influence. Their new album is fantastic and some of my newer recordings are influenced by their use of pads and electronic sounds.
Frightened Rabbit - their latest album has a realistic rock feel unlike the pop music that smogs the music scene. A similar influence as Pete Yorn, this music is always on repeat on my iPod.
Recently I have revisited Third Eye Blind, The La's and Del Amitri as well.

I'm Joey Lea. I write music. I am currently locked up in my home studio working on my next album - uhhh something. (which is not named yet because I can't make up my mind). I will try and post as many new songs as I can and keep you guys updated!
