Fountain stands for deep, atmospheric, sexy and chique dance music sounds
If there’s one DJ in the world to be called ‘the one with the best knowledge of the scene’, it would be Fountain. Drop a name, a track, a sound, a style or a hot scene; Fountain knows all about it.
At the early age of 12, he dedicated himself to music. Not just listening, but also performing.
Later on, Fountain won several DJ contests, which shows that he has great talents, along with passion and a strong belief.
His love for house music, style of mixing and his constant interaction with the audience, make Fountain one of the most special DJ’s you will hear and see in the near future..
After years of experience in playing in several clubs all over the world, from Amsterdam to Miami, Fountain started producing his own sound. This sound can be described as happy, tranquil, deep, sexy and atmospheric dance music. A lot of styles, you may wonder, but that’s the way it is and how you will be influenced.
Besides producing, Fountain is co-founder and resident DJ of several events, such as;
- Perfume. A brand new, elegant and exclusive Amsterdam based club night at Club NL (www.clubnl.nl). Fountain plays there a 6 hour back 2 back set with Peter Kan every 3rd friday of the month. Expect 21st century funk!
- Friendship. An exclusive and successful event, booking International DJ’s who adhere to the earlier described house sound.
- The Groove Collection. The Groove Collection is an online music forum for dance music lovers. The concept is to invite talented DJ’s (who post on the board) & professional DJ’s. Podcasts of this evening are spread all over the world; from Canada to Argentina.
From 2008 on he hosts a monthly internet radio show on Proton Radio, together with his good friend -and musical partner- Jerry van Schie from Groove Collection Records.
Due to his dedication and love of music and sound, his ongoing trust and positive thinking, Fountain knows and understands what he wants; Time and time again, Fountain sculpts a DJ performance of which you can be certain to remember, and keep coming back for more…
