The Bible claims that God knows everything. He has all knowledge. If this is true, then the Bible is the word of someone who knows everything there is to know. If we want to come to the right conclusions about anything, the only sure way would be to start with the word of the One who has absolute knowledge. We Christians must build all of our thinking in every area on the Bible. We must start with God's Word, not the word of finite, fallible man. We must judge what people say on the basis of what God's Word says -- not the other way around.
The principles that govern our thinking in every area must come from the Scriptures. These principles are immutable. No informed evolutionist would question the fact that modern science arose from a biblical foundation. In other words, what we believe and how we think depends upon the basis with which we start. The Bible contains the very foundational principles and details necessary to develop correct thinking in every area.
Unfortunately, too many people have started with the word of men and then judged what the Bible states. What an arrogant position this is! We cannot tell God what He should say. We must be prepared to come totally under His authority and listen to what He says to us. Yes, creation is religion, but it is based on revelation from the all-knowing Creator. Evolution is religion, but it is not based on revelation from God. Instead it is based on the words of men who were not there -- men who (by their own admission) do not know everything. And these men, the Bible informs us, are biased against God and His Word.
If the Bible is not the infallible word of the One who knows everything, then we have exactly nothing. We can never be sure about anything. What then is truth: my word, your word, or someone else's word? In fact, how do you determine what truth is or how to search for it.
Christians have the Bible, which claims to be the Word of God. We can also take what the Bible says and see if the evidence of the present does fit.

Hello, My name is Chris and I currently live in Arleta, California. I attend Granada Hills Community Church and I work as a Welding Supervisor for an automotive company in Van Nuys, California. I am a Christian that has been saved by Gods grace and not of anything that I have done. I am justified by faith in Jesus Christ alone and since becoming saved I read the bible regularly, fellowship with other believers and enjoy sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with people whenever the opportunity comes my way.
While justification is a result of grace and not of works, sanctification is a work in progress. As the Apostle Paul has said, "I fight--I run--I keep under my body;" and in other places, "Let us cleanse ourselves--let us labor, let us lay aside every weight." ( Galatians 2:20; 1 Corinthians 9:26; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 4:11; Hebrews 12:1.) God tells us to be holy in all our behavior. (1 Peter 1:15). Ofcourse there is a struggle because I am still physically in the flesh. Read Romans Chapter 7 to find out what i'm talking about. There still is no excuse for the sin that remains in my life. I hate the things I do wrong and confes daily to God, repenting and trusting in Jesus (1 John 2:1).
I love to go out onto the streets and hand out gospel tracts and strike up conversations with strangers about the after life. It is important to me that people hear the truth in love. That sin has separated us from God and that the only way we can be reconciled with God is through Jesus Christ. Amen.
Something to think about...
If I told you I had a cure for a fatal disease and that I had given up everything that I own and ultimately sacrificed my own life to give this cure to you as a gift but you didn't believe that you had this fatal disease, would you think that I was crazy? Now think about it this way.
If I were to show you 10 clear warning signs that you have this fatal disease and only time is standing in the way of your final breath here on earth, would you take the cure? Would you want the free gift? Just stop and think for a moment about where you will be a hundred years from now. A thousand years from now. A million years from now. What will be the most important thing to you when you've died and eternity begins?
God has written, "and it is appointed unto man once to die, but after this comes judgement" Hebrews 9:27
Gods Word is infallable and has stood the test of time. We must receive grace from God in order to be born again.
Jesus said, "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day."(John 6:44)
No one deserves forgiveness...
ALL HAVE TURNED ASIDE, TOGETHER THEY HAVE BECOME USELESS; THERE IS NONE WHO DOES GOOD, THERE IS NOT EVEN ONE."(Romans 3:12)
Jesus said that few would find the narrow door.
"Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.(Luke 13:24)
Jesus even said that not everyone who says His name will enter heaven.
"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.(Matthew 7:21)
Since God is good, he must punish lawbreakers. A good judge would not just let someone go because they broke the law in a civil court so God who is Holy, far above and seperate from any earthly judge would not just let us go for breaking his law. Gods justice is perfect.
God has written, "the wages of sin is death".
God has given us a conscience to know good from evil. No one had to teach us when we were little. Even people in the remotest of places in the world know that it is wrong to lie, steal, murder(hate), lust(adultery), etc. There is no exucse when we stand before God.
"For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse." (Romans 1:20)
We must remember that apart from God our hearts are deceitful and sick and that God hates those that do not belong to Him.
"The boastful shall not stand before Your eyes; You hate all who do iniquity." (Psalms 5:5)
Those with a humbled heart, that God has revealed Himself to will be saved.
Jesus said,"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." (Matthew 5:3-4)
Repent. Cry out to God for mercy. Few will receive it.
Remember what the tax collector said?
"But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, the sinner!' (Luke 18:13)
Remember that Jesus said that few will find the way that leads to life with God.
"For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it." (Matthew 7:14)
Remember in Noahs day? God saved only 8 people out of the entire earth because every intent of the thoughts of mans heart was only evil continually.
Look at what Jesus says will happen in the end days...
"And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. "It was the same as happened in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building; but on the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. "It will be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed." (Luke 17:26-30)
Fear God.
"AND HIS MERCY IS UPON GENERATION AFTER GENERATION TOWARD THOSE WHO FEAR HIM. (Luke 1:50)
Read what Jesus said...
"But I will warn you whom to fear: fear the One who, after He has killed, has authority to cast into hell; yes, I tell you, fear Him!" (Luke 12:5)
Jesus said that He is the only way to heaven.
Jesus *said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. (John 14:6)
So please, repent...
Jesus said, "I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish." (Luke 13:3) NASB

"LORD, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered—how fleeting my life is. You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand. My entire lifetime is just a moment to You; at best, each of us is but a breath." We are merely moving shadows, and all our busy rushing ends in nothing. We heap up wealth, not knowing who will spend it.
Teach and remind me to realize the brevity of life, so that I may grow in wisdom.
Remind me that I can do nothing by or of Myself. For it is You Father that does the work.
Remind me that I must quickly carry out the tasks assigned to me by the One who sent me. For you said, the night is coming, and then no one can work.
Remind me that whatever I do, I should do it well. For when I go to the grave, there will be no work or planning or knowledge or wisdom.
