Dan McLachlan .. Guitar Vocals
Owner of the biggest lungs in rock and all round top geezer. Plays the geetar like no other and speaks fluent Russian too. Don't ask why.
Ped .. Guitar
Owner of the shortest name in rock history. The mysterious Ped gets to meet famous rock stars as part of his day job and sometimes frames 6 foot vaginas. By night he gets to twang his thang with FLF, lucky bugger.
Chris Ellul .. Drums Vocals
Owner of the longest hair in rock (well in FLF anyway). Chris is the man behind the beats and a legend between the sheets (we just put that in because it rhymes). He currently has three mums.
Jamie Ellul .. Bass Vocals
Owner of sideburns that would make even Gaz from Supergrass green eyed. Jamie is the master of the bottom end (and we don't mean his fantastic collection of ladies knickers either .. we're talking bass). A former SAS assassin and a top chef.
Influences
PJ Harvey, Radiohead, Queens Of The Stoneage, Nirvana, The Cooper Temple Clause, Deftones, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Pinch, Mogwai, Pink Floyd, Pavement, Sonic Youth, The Beatles, Reuben, The Stones, Bowie, Screaming Trees, Soundgarden, Tool, Kyuss, Jeff Buckley, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath etc.

Imagine taking the best bits from all your favourite rock albums of the last 15 years and fusing them to create your ultimate band. That’s what the members of heavy rock band Four Letter Friend did after a chance meeting in a North London butchers shop (don't ask) in March 2006. What they’ve ended up with is something which amounts to much more than the sum of its parts.
Their first EP – produced by legend Paul Corkett – was described by Organ Magazine as having "A massive Queens Of The Stone Age sound, that modern heavy rock thing, big and brooding and full of swagger, alive with knowing confidence, a sound that bursts right in and demands undivided attention". Recent download single 'Children Should Not Play With Dead Things' (Shifty Disco Records - http://www.shiftydisco.co.uk/mp3/140.html) resides in the top 4 most downloaded singles ever in Shifty Disco history alongside buzz band Young Knives. Not a bad start for a band still in its infancy, but what next.
"Our mission is simple – write great songs that connect with people. Then play them really fucking loud in as many places as possible". Not a bad mission and one which has served many bands well in the past, FLF are set to follow in the footsteps of their heroes. Be sure to watch out for their next gig, just don't forget the earplugs.

Like an ice cream van full of smouldering semtex, Gutter and Grime does not disappoint! Hot and heavy like the foulest Mexican porn queen, but with a side order of poetical trickery…Practically MONUMENTAL!!!
just saying hi, hope you've had a
good week so far... can't believe that we only
have a short few weeks to Christmas. Well,
just wanted to say hi and see how your Christmas
plans are coming anyway:)
Still loving "She's my Queen" -- great track... reminiscent of the best AIC. "Take it all away" is a great track! Best of luck -- looking fwd to seeing you play!
Hey FLF, I hope this finds you super well and that the music is playing for you!
From the outset I apologise for the shameless plug. I promise I'm only going to take a wee moment of your time, cos I know how precious it is. I just have a wee favour to ask.
Basically, out of 600 songwriters, I have been voted into the final 12 on Slice The Pie's first showcase - Launch Arena. I am in the running for £15,000 to help me make an album. The tedious part, is the artist with the most votes, wins! The showcase closes on 5th September.
Pretty please vote for me - if you follow the instructions below it will take a couple of minutes at most:
Please go to http://www.slicethepie.com - register for free (they will send you a reg no) -sign in - click the SHOWCASE tab - then go to Current Showcase - LAUNCH ARENA - and vote beside my name.
I really really appreciate any support that comes my way, Love M x
