J :|: Acoustic violin, Jordan electric 6 string violin, keyboards, rhythm programming, vocals, guitar, and mandolin. Oh yes, and the occasional shakuhachi.
Influences
Everything I've ever heard, everything I've ever seen, and everything I've ever felt that I've managed to communicate via music . . . and all of the other wacky stuff that spawns from these things while I'm asleep, while I'm awake, and every other state in between.
Sounds Like
whatever it needs to sound like if you're listening to it.
"4 String Dreams" started as a performance art musical about reclusive composer inspired by a drawing that would come to life at night and act as his muse. After a brief run of three shows, the initial project was done, but the music remained. What you hear here is a sampling of the music that inspired the dreams, or perhaps the other way around. It's hard to say which came first, but all that is for certain is that there will be more to come. So thank you very much for your continued support and encouragement and hopefully we'll (I'll) get to perform again sometime in the near future.
Cheers,
J
