OTTAWA UNDERGROUND	Jun 14 2009 8:57 PM Stop censorship on punkottawa.com! I'm not talking about reasonable terms of use on the message board like stopping hate literature (that makes sense). I'm talking about admin deleting reasonable discussion and dialogue. Sure it's there website, and they can do what ever they want, but if they are going to delete post by jasonramone and ban his account, you or anyone else can be next. And this is sour soy beverage for the entire online community. Other people have been banned in the past, people that in no way violated the terms of agreement. The Nads have been deleted from the bands section for two years now, and someone on punkottawa refused or forgot to re-add the listing on the bands page. The jasonramone post were in regards to this over sight and politely asking and thanking the staff in advance to re-add the link. Two years is a long wait. If you think the actions of punkottawa admins are unreasonable please speak up. Franky who runs ottawa poppunk did, and his post was deleted, twice now. If scallen or galipu wanted to delete some racist, sexist, homophobic comment, I don't think most reasonable people would have a problem with that. I do have a problem with bullying and power trips and stopping reasonable discussions online. If I don't like it, I can start my own message board, but to me it's a greater issue than that. The punkottawa message board has so many members, it really is an institution for dialogue amongst very different people. To have that dialogue cut off arbitrary is an affront to punk values.
