Fourthwall is a Canadian band that composes original songs. Headed by songwriters Mark ‘Slick’ Scarmato and Dan Gallo, Fourthwall looks to contribute songs that are socially aware, and infusing them with a British/Canadian Rock 'n Roll sound.
Their talent for writing strong melodies and harmonies is influenced mainly by The Beatles and Oasis. Mixing in their favourite Canadian Band, Sam Roberts Band with their lyrical and musical prowess, Fourthwall knows great music and wants to make more of it. Both Slick and Dan studied music at York University in Toronto and have released two EP’s - “Fourthwall” Ep, (found on iTunes) and more recently the album, “The Truth Lies Here”, in which the single “Here with Me” is found. "Here With Me" will be released all over the world as a part of Radiornr's compilation disc, "New Faces, New Music Volume 3" in early 2010. The track will be available online as well, adding to Fourthwall's exposure. Fourthwall is currently recording new music that emphasizes the fact that their talents continue to grow steadily with each passing year. Look for new music in early 2010, including a new single entitled, “See You Again Sometime” currently being mixed by an engineer from EMI in Hong Kong.
