About me:

My name is Cathy.
I have 3 grown girls,they all have children so that adds up to 7 grandchildren!
If you know me then saying Dogs and Horses says it all on my personal interest.
We have 4 Ibizans, 1 Borzoi (which me daughter has dognapped)and 1 older Jack Russell Terrier.- 1 rescued Thoroughbred x-race horse, and 2 American Paint horses.
I have had the wonderful luck of owning and showing some great dogs, both Jack Russell Terriers and Ibizan hounds.
While showing my terriers i traveled all over the US,Canada and also Great Britian. I learned and apprenticed under the greatest terriermen Mr.Greg Mousley & Bob Clough. Without them,I could never have accomplished what i did.
I have also been very furtunate to have worked & learned under well respected horse trainers.
Currently i am training & hopefully we can compete in a Dressage test next year.
In Feb i left being an E.R. Tech, pretty cool, except that i worked in the Urgent Care and got tired of all the drug seekers, so bye-bye..don't care to support their habit.
Now i work at a Feed Store and get to talk about animals all day! and i get paid to do this!
Sometimes i get bored and get alittle crazy and find something new and off the wall to do,but all is good because when i am old i can say at least i lived!
..My Life has always been horses and dogs, i used to play at Cross Country jumpers and ofcourse Barrel Racing (what country girl hasn't).Loved Hunt pase trials.
I was able to show Training & Level 1 Dressage and it was thrilling to recieve a good score!!
Then i moved on to dogs, I made wonderful friends, but after my dogs died in a kennel accident i gave up dogs for awhile.
An Ibizan sighthound came into my life named "Crimson" and she brought me back,and re-newed my passion for the show ring and field. She got me hooked on AKC.
I would like to thank Heidi Clevenstein for her guidence in the world of Ibizans.-
I have so far had a GREAT life. I hate to be bored and am always looking for something new to do.
I have owned Great Dogs,Great Horses, Have Great Kids and a Great Husband....I might be a touch spoiled.
