   About foxes

===================foxes=====================

foxes is the music of me, andrew, also of DISCO CAT FEVER. It's supposed to be calming and expansive, and introverted and melodic, and rhythmic and not, while being uneven and sometimes made with toy instruments, sometimes not. Essentially influenced by the music listed over there, as well the fact that I obviously lack the social skills to be in a band. Late nights, early mornings, programming tiny filters till my eyes fall out.

Indulgent, but attempting to be generous with it.

More piano needed.

===================music=====================

Demo cd out last summer. See here.

Remix of Yoshimi's "Skelton" available from HERE, on his EP, EP 2B: Remixes of The Cheshire Stuff"

Videos by Thinkbulb, currently being dreamed up and pressed onto rock face with inks and paints, debuting shortly.

New CD, out sometime soon.

We Are Tokyo [NEW SONGS UP!!]

Jun 25 2009 12:51 PM

Hey!

We realise how this is quite obviously automated and you will probably consider it as spam and ignore it.. but if you are feeling the need for a some fresh new music please visit our page and give our new EP a listen. We've worked really hard on it and had some excellent feedback so far and would love to hear what you guys think.

"Exciting, Striding and assured. It has an energy reminiscant of everything that was good about the Klaxons debut album.." - BBC Radio Bristol.

"The overall sound echoes that of Bloc Party but with great conviction and sophistication. Go see them live if you can." - iTunes review.

It's also available to buy through our website and itunes if you really do like it.

F O O T B A L L presents on Saturday 23rd February at Cafe Saki...

Itch
"Itch are quite breathtakingly, pant-twitchingly awesome. Songs stop, start, fall over themselves, kick themselves up the arse, explode into cataclysmic bursts of energybefore suddenly veering off into seemingly irreconcilable tangents that seamlessyly reconcile themselves within the space of a few minutes" LeedsMusicScene.Net
Influences include American Football and Cursive

Arms At Last
"Arms At Last sound like what would happen if Dartz! and Hot Club De Paris had an affair." FuckingDance.blogspot.com

Spokes
Beautiful epic post rock. Album of the month on BoomKat.com

Chrik
make energetic tunes with just drums, cymbals, a guitar and a loop pedal.

Followed by a bit of a party to the likes of Sam Cooke, Why?, Otis Redding and Subtle.

Haha! If only I knew how to use this thing. You'll have to pass on all you know. Sorry to hear about that cup of tea! I hope it was a herbal variety? I'm working on the cable. I'll have an answer for you tomorrow for sure. Man, happy days! Keep up the good tuneage:)

Cats in Paris
influences include animal collective and danielson. have been tipped by various websites such as This Is Fake DIY as ones to watch in 2008.

Sup. Lovely crazy spaced out wierdness. I might play with it again. Things not going too bad...assistant stage managing a production in London at the moment. And doing less work on music. Having said that, I've just done a bit of minimal goodness. Have a look on ma page.

Kent is silly!
