Fox Klein's Comedian Bio
|
| Bio | Melbourne based comedian Fox Klein has been
performing with humble beginnings at the Comic’s
Lounge since late 2002. In 2003 he went on to win the
first annual ‘Search for a Funny Bone’ stand up
comedy competition and hasn’t looked back since.
Headlining and supporting some of Australia’s biggest
names both nationally and internationally to packed
audiences, Fox has been a regular in all the top
venues, including the Athenaeum theatre, Crown
Casino, the Melbourne Town Hall and many more.
Fox’s energetic and engaging style of universal stand
up comedy has firmly established him as an audience
favourite. Able to adapt to rooms of 50 to 500 people
easily, from comedy clubs to upmarket corporate
gigs, along with his blend of story-telling and intricate
weaving of topics, Fox is one of the most sought after
comedians working in the country today.
With writing credits for the Comedy Chanel (Foxtel),
the award winning ‘Studio A’ TV program (C31), and
Cam Knight (Host of Stand Up Australia), Fitness First
magazine, four solo shows and a string of highly
successful children’s shows at the Melbourne
International Comedy Festival, Fox Klein is a versatile
performer, his charismatic and friendly style never

| General | Filtering the world through my mental filter... and kung-fu. | | Music | I like it, but lately all I hear is the background music to the Mario Brothers game, but not that happy 'in the middle of a level' music, I hear that scary stuff that comes on when you fight a boss. Conseqently I am always anxious and expecting to be hit with glowing orange fire balls. This is no way to live. | | Movies | If it aint a 70's kung-fu flick dont even bother. You can keep your Titanic's and your Lord of the Rings and your Hope Floats... give me a poorly edited, poorly dubbed VHS copy of
'Dragon Fist' and Im a happy camper. Also I like movies about happy campers. | | Television | I don't watch it, I only use mine to play video games and taunt poltergeists... once I succeeded in doing both at once, and I'll tell you this... you dont know shame till you've been beaten 20 nill in Quake Arena by a shadow demon from the 9th level of hell. He didnt even have thumbs. | | Books | I prefer books on tape. Unless the book hapens to be a pop up book co's thats hard to articulate effectively enough for me to form a mental image of whatever it is trying to be portrayed. About me:
Im a male, Im a cancer, I like clouds and long walks on the beach and snuggling up by a warm fire place and reminising about taking long walks on the beach and what type of shapes I saw in the clouds while I was taking a long walk on the beach... today I saw a cloud in the shape of what looked like someone taking a long walk on a beach... of course it was a cloud so it could have just as easily been a duck......................During the day I fight crime, only by day though, if anything happens at night, dont call for me... I work at BlockBuster... and on top of loosing my name tag I have exceeded my employee free rental limit, which is bad timing because the new Van Damme ' straight to video ' movie " BLOOD KICK " has just been released and I want to watch it, guess I have to wait till next week. Van DAM it!!!!
