About me: Foxtrot India….
A mythical figure, believed to have been born some time in the late 18th Century to a gypsy woman who travelled with her daughter across Europe, enchanting men with her beautiful dancing and skilful baking.
Sometime between 1923 and 1936, she showed up as a cabaret performer in the seedy bars of Berlin. It is said that she was known for her excellent ability to seduce rich men to fund her extravagant lifestyle which included, but were not limited to, men, women, drink and a penchant for melted chocolate.
Little is known of the intricacies of Foxy’s life. Luckily her beauty and passion has inspired many artists over the last century. There have been hundreds of images created in her likeness – all ageless and youthful.
After a stint in 2007 working in the seedy underbelly of London's burlesque scene, in the summer of 2008 Foxy revisited some of her old haunts across Europe and America such as Boudoir Bizarre in Holland, Von Krahl Theatre Estonia, Bordello Los Angeles and Casino Lisboa Portugal.
It is not known why Foxtrot India has chosen Australia as her next port of call. But as history has shown, when a city is in need of new passion and inspiration – Foxtrot India is there!
