About me:
De twee "Foxy Roses" leren elkaar kennen in 2003. Tijdens hun werkzaamheden als publiciteitsmedewerker bij poppodium Doornroosje in Nijmegen komen ze er achter dat ze verschillende gezamenlijke interesses hebben, waaronder fotografie. Samen bezoeken ze vaak (pop)concerten en al snel gaat ook de camera mee. Als Ilse in 2004 "voor de lol" een foto website start, besluiten ze om samen met de website verder te gaan. Ze fotograferen in 1½ jaar tijd ruim 50 bands. Ook breiden ze hun fotografie activiteiten uit door foto's te maken voor de website van VPRO 3voor12 Arnhem / Nijmegen. Top bands of beginnende bands; het maakt ze niet uit. Ze zijn er bij om het vast te leggen. De oude website word al snel te klein en de "Foxy Roses" starten in 2005 een nieuwe website die beter laat zien wat ze willen tonen.

The two "Foxy Roses" met each other in 2003. During their activities as publicity employees at poppodium Doornroosje in Nijmegen, they found out they have several shared interests, and one of these is photography. Together they saw a lot of popconcerts and soon the photo camera was travelling with them. In 2004 Ilse starts a photo website "just for fun", and soon Grietje comes a long. Within a year they take pictures from more then 50 bands. They also start a new project; they both become photographers for the VPRO 3voor12 Arnhem/Nijmegen website. Top bands or just started bands; they don't matter. The Foxy Roses are there to shoot it. The old website is soon too small, so they start a new website in 2005. A website that better shows the things they want you to see.
