Miami-born Cuban, DJ FR8-O began his spinning career with monthly sessions at Buck 15 on South Beach. As more people began to hear his eclectic blend of pop, rock, dance and mash-ups, invitations to spin at other clubs and private events began to pour in. Ever the innovator, he took a break from the world of pop and house music to tap into the musical genre that once inspired him in the past—R&B, Soul, & Funk. With that came Smooth Saturdays, a weekly event he produced, promoted and was resident DJ at the Albion Hotel. His playlists featured soul classics from Aretha Franklin, James Brown and Michael Jackson infused with neo-soul artists like Joss Stone, Robin Thicke and Mary J Blige. DJ FR8-O continues to re-invent himself and make appearances throughout the SoBe club scene bringing his original style to club-goers looking for something different.
Other appearances include Barramundi NY, Halo Miami, The Palace Bar, Twist, Score, Lakeview Broadcasting Co. Chicago, Catalina Beach Club, Sleepless Night, Gay American Heroes Winter Party Event and Winter Music Conference 2008.
