PHOTOSYNTHESIS is a metabolic pathway that converts carbon dioxide into organic compounds, especially sugars, using the energy from sunlight. It occurs in plants, algae, and many species of bacteria. There are three main factors affecting photosynthesis: light irradiance and wavelength; carbon dioxide concentration; temperature.
PHOTO-SYNTHESIS is also the process of summarizing a vision.
