Fractured formed at the start of 2007 when guitarists Joe Baxendale and Gareth Scott, and drummer Nathan Trainor left the New Zealand "Hard Rock" band Remote to form this much heavier project. Mark Kelly joined shortly thereafter on vocals, and the band spent the remainder of 2007 writing. Malcolm Blake (BBB) took up bass duties at the end of 2007.
After doing a few gigs, Joe left in early 2008, and the band went back to the practice room to write new material. In August of 2008 Fractured recorded their debut demo EP "Bleeding The Horror Inside".

Midway through 2009 Malcolm left to pursue another project, and bass player Carl Win took up the vacant position. In June of 2009, Fractured started the recording of their first album "No Fear Of Consequence".
