About Frail

Frail was formed in autumn 2002 by Tarmo Kellomäki and Jukka Kriikkula who were dying to make good and professional rock music. After some changes in the crew Frail has been stabilized to a five-member-group. Frails musicians have already played several years in many different assemblies from tango to rock and played hundreds of shows in Finland and other countries. Since its birth 3,5 years ago, Frail has played e.g. 50 gigs in 4 countries, released Frail-EP and made several demos. In the summer 2005 Frail made its first european mini-tour, e.g. headlining the 5000-people Slot Art Festival in Poland. In january 2006 Frail was represented in Cannes Midem 2006 festival amoung the most notable Finnish export artists. In february 2006 Frail signed a record deal with Jiffel Production and its debyt album will be released within the year. Frail's music combines hard low-tuned guitar riffs and very memorable melodic intonations. A precise music genre wanders between American rock and metal. Frails strong interpretation is been supported by Tarmo Kellomäkis personal singing voice and the keyboards important role in the arrangements. But still Frail is at its best while playing live, offering very energic and memorable rock show to its listeners.
