Michael's Interests
|
| General | Computers, bass fishing, and making money. Oh yeah, I'm building a 1984 F-150 Ford pickup into a street rod. I also like fast cars and drag racing. Don't really get into NASCAR, though. | | Music | Classic Rock and Roll, Heavy Metal, Alternative. Aerosmith, AC DC, Papa Roach, Nickleback, Ozzie, just about all the old greats! | | Movies | Just got back from watching "The Covenant". 9/9/2006 It's got my vote for the number one movie for the year! I like supernatural thrillers, ghost movies, witches, warlocks, vampires, etc.
Don't care for gory movies at all, though. | | Television | SciFi channel on satellite.
Adult Swim anime, Military Channel, Travel Channel, Starz Movie Channel. | | Books | Anything related to marketing, plus anything by Stephen King. | | Heroes | Jesus, Marlon Sanders, Wille Crawford, Michael Penland, Shawn Casey, Ben Suarez, Zig Ziglar, Armand Morin, more to be added later. I'm short of time right now. |

Michael's Blurbs |
About me:
Construction leadman trying to be an internet marketer.
I've been in some kind of sales since 1966 and with a little luck, I'll go fulltime with my websites soon.
I started out selling seeds...the ones that were advertised on the backs of comic books back in the sixties.
Then, I graduated to greeting cards and eventually to Grit Newspaper. Anybody here old enough to remember Grit newspaper?
After graduation, I tried a factory job for a while, but soon found out I wasn't cut out for it.
I tried mail order for a while in the late seventies, but
the lack of resources in the small town in TN where I lived caused me to give up before I made it.
I've worked dozens of jobs through the years, but always come back to sales. I've been marketing on the internet since 2002 and I'm gonna make it this time.
Come on along with me. I promise it'll be a wild ride!

Who I'd like to meet:
other people interested in internet marketing and sales. Also, people who love computers and bass fishing. I admit, I'm more fisher than catcher, but I love to bass fish. I also build my own computers and enjoy talking with other geeks. :-)
