Qui sotto, una ripresa di Terre Lontane dal vivo al Lian Club di Roma (Nov. 2007) con la FLXB, una versione 'allargata' del mio gruppo abituale al quale - per l'occasione - si sono aggiunti Luisa Capuani (voce), Max Rossetti (mandolino) e Stefano Frollano (lap-steel). A parte la bellissima atmosfera creata da tutta la band, vi invito ad ascoltare l'interpretazione di Luisa, che canta la seconda strofa in maniera superba. Le immagini sono scure ma la sua voce fa risplendere tutta la canzone.

Sono un collezionista di immagini e mi piace conservare le istantanee più significative di questo viaggio. Fotografo con gli occhi e con le parole, con una chitarra o con una macchina fotografica. Fotografo emozioni e attimi che non tornano e poi li affido alla musica e al vento.
Attualmente sono impegnato nella realizzazione di un paio di auto-produzioni: un CD con una raccolta di mie canzoni in inglese (accompagnato da alcuni ottimi musicisti, tra i quali Stefano Senesi, Daniele Pomo, Ruggero Artale, Andrea Grossi, Stefano Baldasseroni, Joe Slomp, Andrea Luciani, Stefano Frollano, Kenny Passarelli, Jeff Pevar, James Raymond) e un mini con alcuni dei miei pezzi in italiano. Entrambi i progetti dovrebbero venire alla luce entro la fine dell'anno.

Ho suonato circa 500 concerti. Tra le date italiane: Roma (Folkstudio, Big Mama, Jailbreak, Geronimo, Tendastrisce); Subiaco Rock Blues Festival; Naima di Forlì; BeBop di Reggio Emilia; Juxtap di Sarzana; Cantieri Musicali di Vetralla; Non Solo Jazz: tributo a Massimo Urbani a Camerata Nuova. All'estero ho suonato a Londra (UK), in Ungheria e in California, con alcune date a Los Angeles, Santa Monica e Santa Barbara.
Sono stato in tour con Billy Talbot, il bassista di Neil Young & Crazy Horse (California: marzo 1993; Italia: novembre 2005).
Ho diviso il palco con Crosby Stills & Nash, Jimmy La Fave, Ben Vaughn, John Wesley Harding, Graziano Romani, Joe Henry, Eric Andersen, Enrico Capuano, Luigi Grechi.

Currently working on a couple of recording projects: a mini-CD with some of my Italian songs and a full-length album, a self-produced folly which will feature a collection of some of the many songs I have written in English. Audio previews will be here when the record is finished.
Songs in rotation here are just rough cuts & raw recordings coming from different
sessions and different years.
