Il percorso musicale di Francesco Plazzi inizia a nove anni sotto la guida della chitarrista classica ed insegnante Franca Bettoli. Studia in seguito con Gabriele Bombardini ed Antonio Cavicchi. Diplomato al G.I.T. di Londra (Musicians Institute), è attualmente laureando presso il Conservatorio di Adria nel corso di Jazz.
Dal 2003 al 2007 è tour manager per le agenzie Slang Music e Break Live Music e collabora con Europe Jazz Network in ambito Crossroads e Ravenna Jazz Festival. Entrando in contatto personale con molti grandi musicisti nell’area del Blues, Soul e Jazz si appasiona definitivamente alla grande tradizione della musica afro-americana.
Impegnato in un’intensa attività concertistica con i suoi progetti e come musicista freelance, insegna chitarra moderna presso la scuola di musica Mama’s di Ravenna.
La passione per la musica lo ha condotto inoltre ad un’intensa attività di promozione della musica live sul proprio territorio sfociata nella realizzazione di “Spiagge Soul Festival”, importante evento musicale estivo nei lidi ravennati.

The musical journey of Francesco Plazzi began at the age of nine under the guide of the classical guitarist and teacher Franca Bettoli. Later he studied with Gabriele bombardini and Antonio Cavicchi. He graduated at G.I.T in London (Musicians Institute) and is currently taking a Jazz degree at the Conservatory of Adria.
From 2003 till 2007 has been Tour Manager for the agencies Slang Music and Break Live Music and collaborated with Europe Jazz Network in the events “Crossroads” and “Ravenna Jazz Festival”.
In this time he worked with many big musicians in the Blues, Soul and Jazz area and developed a big passion and interest in the afro-american musical tradition.
Francesco leads a very busy live concerts activity with his own projetcs and as freelance musician; he’s currently teaching modern guitar in the music’s school Mama’s in Ravenna.
His passion for music lead him to an intense work of promotion for live music in his own territory, which brought him to the realizition of the “Spiagge Soul Festival”, an important summer musical event in the Ravenna beach area.
