Native to Bari, South-East of Italy, I am a dedicated and accomplished electric bass player/teacher and music writer. I am graduated with a professional diploma in pop-rock music (el. bass) at Fonderia delle Arti (2005-2009). Beyond my music activities, I hold a BA in Languages and International Communication at Roma Tre University and I’m currently studying for a MA in General and Applied Linguistics.
I have taken lessons with the following teachers: Fabrizio “Shanna” Sciannameo (electric bass, pop-rock arranging), Gianluca Verrengia (complementary guitar, pop-rock laboratories, pop-rock arranging), Cesare Buccitti (music theory), Marcello Filotei (harmony, music IT, history of music), Fabrizio Cardosa (composing and contemporary arranging), Matteo Esposito (music theory for electric bass), Giovanni Di Caprio (rock laboratories), Mats Hedberg (rock laboratories), Marco Acquarelli (jazz laboratories), Enrico Bracco (jazz laboratories), Tony Carnevale (recording studio experience), Maurizio Boco (history of rock music) and Andrea Polinelli (history of jazz music, music in relation to other arts).
I have also attended the Berklee Summer School @ Umbria Jazz Clinics 2009, where I took lessons and clinics with Oscar Stagnaro (electric bass), Matthew Nicholl (music theory, composing/arranging, ear training) and other teachers from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston.
