Bass Player, Composer , Yamaha/Markbass & Elixir Endorser.
Franck was born in Nimes, France. He begins classical music
studies at the age of 6 (violin lessons).
At the age of 16 his father gives him his first bass, while
Franck discovers heavy metal and fusion music.
First autodidact, he joins the IMFP,french music school to learn
jazz and latin music basics.
Professional at the age of 20, he plays in several cover bands,
even a philarmonic orchestra before joining french virtuoso
guitarist Cyril Achard's band in 1999.
The trio records "In inconstancia constans" a progressive-fusion
album with guest Tony McAlpine on Keyboards.
Endorsed by Yamaha, they play in several music events, sharing
the stage with prestigious musicians as Frank Gambale, Didier Lockwood...
Franck Joins Adagio in 2001, and they record the first album
"Sanctus Ignis" then "Underworld" in 2003, followed by a first tour
captured on a live album "A band in Upperworld" released in Japan.
In 2004, back to fusion with Taboo Voodoo (With Mike Terrana and
Cyril Achard)on a French / German tour. Franck joins Elixir strings
in 2005.
Since 2004,Adagio has performed numerous shows in USA, Japan, Holland,
France, Spain, Portugal,Tunisia, Switzerland, Belgium,...
Great fan of Movie soundtrack, classical and contemporary music,
Franck practices arrangement, writing music on existing movie trailers
first for fun, then collaborates on different french short movies...
Looking forward in writing real music scores !!!
He teaches electric bass in Nimes, France and is a Markbass endorser
since 2008...

Lately I do not enter very much in myspace. Nowadays I am in facebook. Adagio needs some type of help for his Spanish tour? If you need help, please let me know. (cheap hotels, promotions, radio interviews...)

C'est vraiment "monstrueux" ce que tu fais, tu as dû bosser comme un fou pour en arriver là... ça donne envie d'apprendre à jouer de la basse! En tout cas chapeau! Et bonne chance dans tout ce que tu entreprends car tu le mérites! Au plaisir de te croiser un de ces quatre, on ne sait jamais (je suis chanteuse/ clavier au sein du groupe Motel...)
