1. VERSION FRANCAISE
Mon parcours, mes influences:
musicien passionné de groupes 60's et 70's .
Je flashe sur les Beatles en voyant un extrait de "Hard day's night" un jour à la télé; à chaque fois qu'ils passent à la radio j'ai l'oreille collée au poste...
Puis c'est l'enchaînement : Revolver, Sgt Pepper, le flower power, les Stones, les Who, bref le parcours pop classique... Je découvre Otis Redding et la scène soul: Aretha Franklin, Eddie Floyd etc. Côté français, dans ces années-là, c'est Jacques Dutronc, Nino Ferrer, Serge Gainsbourg, Michel Polnareff qui me branchent, je trouve qu'ils sonnent vraiment pop...
Au tournant des 70's vers l'âge de 13 ans, première guitare, on entre dans l'ère des Supergroups, le phénomène Woodstock se propage, CSN&Y, Creedence, Chicago parmi mes préférés....je découvre le blues avec Johnny Winter, le hard rock/blues/ folk progressif de Led Zeppelin (nouveau flash!). Premiers séjours en Angleterre, en pleine période Glam rock: T Rex, Slade, Bowie, Roxy... premiers concerts également, le début d'une longue série, dont certains immortalisés en son ou en image (je suis un peu archiviste à mes heures, voir mes photos live dans la rubrique + de photos, album "mes concerts")
Plus tard la scène punk puis new wave déferlent avec un tas d'excellents groupes, j'adore Talking Heads, B52's, Joe Jackson...je découvre dans des petites salles certains groupes qui deviendront planétaires (U2 au Marquee à Londres et en 1ere partie des Talking Heads à Paris) et aussi certains qui disparaîtront comme les Clash par ex.
En France je me branche sur Higelin vu à la fête de l'Huma accompagné du jeune Bertignac ce qui me conduit logiquement à Téléphone dans la foulée... La langue française sonne rock désormais.
Enfin, j'ai continué à découvrir encore plein d'autres bons groupes jusqu'à aujourd'hui...
Dans tout ce parcours la guitare tient la première place, merci à George Harrison, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Hendrix, Gilmour,Blackmore , Johnny Winter pour citer les plus connus et aussi Terry Kath, Stephen Stills, Adrian Belew et tant d'autres...

My route, my influences:
Musician fond of 60’s and 70’s pop groups. When I was a child I flashed on the Beatles by seeing an extract of " Hard of day night " one day on TV; every time they’re played on the radio I have the ear stuck on the post... Then it is the chain: revolver, Sgt Pepper’s, the flower power, the Stones, the Who, in brief the classic pop course... I discover Otis Redding and the soul stage: Aretha Franklin, Eddie Floyd etc. French side, in these years, it is Jacques Dutronc, Nino Ferrer, Serge Gainsbourg, Michel Polnareff which connect me, I find that they sound really pop... In the bend of the 70’s towards the age of 13 years, the first guitar, we enter the era of Supergroups, the phenomenon Woodstock propagates, CSN&Y, Creedence, Chicago among my preferred; I discover the blues with Johnny Winter, the hard rock / blues / progressive folk song of Led Zeppelin (new flash!). First stays in England, in full period Glam rock: T Rex, Slade, Bowie, Roxy first concerts also, the beginning of a long series, some will be immortalized in sound or in image, I am a little archivist at my hours, see my live pictures in + of photos section, album " My Concerts ") Later the punk stage, then the new wave break out with a heap of excellent groups, I like Talking Heads, B52's, Joe Jackson ... I discover in small venues new groups which are going to become global (as U2 at the Marquee in London and also in Paris opening for Talking Heads) and also some who disappeared since then (the Clash for ex.). In France I dig Jacques Higelin seen in the "Fête de l'Humanité" accompanied with the young Louis Bertignac (future french guitar hero) what leads me logically to Telephone (best French rock band ever) in the stride... The French language sounds rock henceforth. Finally, I continued to discover still lots of other good groups until today... In all this course the guitar holds the first place, thanks to George Harrison, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Hendrix, Gilmour, Blackmore, Johnny Winter to quote the most known and also Terry Kath, Stephen Stills, Adrian Belew and so many others...

Salut François, ta culture musicale est toujours aussi impressionante, quand à ton "vocabulaire" guitaristique, il est proche de l'encyclopédie du Rock'n'roll !!!! Ce sera avec plaisir que l'on t'"accueillera" parmis nous la prochaine fois pour "discuter" à coups de riffs ou chorus stratifiés .......ou Gibsoniens pour ne pas faire de jalous en interne !! il parait qu'il y aurait une ébauche "java" musicos de prévue (source Dominicaine), on croise les doigts.

yes, how fast one year can pass! I'm thinking of that HOT night in Paris all the time. I keep believing they might come back soon. I talked to all of my CHI fans on Facebook and all of them keep me posted as soon as they hear anything about it. One of them is Jacky Calle and she's Jason Scheff's sister and I know some fanclub boardmembers. In September they go back to Japan (lucky Japanse fans) and maybe then Europe again.? Robert promised us in Paris. I keep ypu posted as soon as I hear anything! Till then!
