For over 20 years, Frank Bradford has been making his mark on the Christian music scene. His lifelong love of music and many years of study have provided him with a wealth of experience in performing, producing and recording as lead vocalist, guitarist, and keyboardist. His many influences have enabled him to creatively combine pop, rock and blues into his own unique style.
Frank’s ministry experience includes six years of playing keyboards and guitar while on tour with one of America’s favorite Christian artists, Ray Boltz. While traveling with Ray, Frank also had the opportunity to play for Phillips, Craig and Dean, Russ Taff, and Selah. He has also had the opportunity to play solo concerts for Icthus Music Festival, Assembly of God State Youth Convention and the Indianapolis Resurrection Breakfast.
In 2005, Frank released his first album, Better Days, featuring artists such as Russ Taff and Nicole Sponberg, formerly Nicole Smith of Selah. Frank’s most recent release, Man in the Wilderness, was featured in The Indy Sports Men’s Magazine as January 2008’s album of the month. Considered to be his “break out CD,” it is a compilation of rock, jazz, and soul with the sounds of Moe Z M.D. from the Wallflowers and John Cougar Mellencamp, Dane Clark also from Mellencamp and Steve Earl, Rick Derringer who is best known for “Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo” and “Hang on Sloopy,” and also Krystal Peterson, known for many contributions to Disney films including her hit “Supergirl.” Frank is also featured in Indy.com, Indianapolis’ premier website sponsored by the Indianapolis Star.

As one of the best known “unknown” artists in central Indiana, Frank Bradford is like a “Man in the Wilderness”, which is the title of his second solo release nationwide. Most rock and roll followers in Indiana have heard Frank’s immense talent, as he has played and sung with the “Wright Brothers”, toured nationwide with Ray Boltz and Russ Taft, and performed as the lead singer for “Harum-Sarum” and the “Roadmaster Reunion Tour”. Yet, for all his musical accomplishments and infamous talent, Frank remains a relatively obscure artist, although that may very well change soon with the release of Man in the Wilderness, which could easily be Frank’s best CD.
Featuring artists such as Moe Z M.D. (from the Wallflowers and Mellencamp) playing the organ and bass; Dane Clark (Mellencamp and Steve Earl) on drums; and guitar legend Rick Derringer (“Hang on Sloopy” and “Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo”) laying down some soaring guitar leads, Man in the Wilderness is a must hear CD.
When you combine the above talent with Frank’s soothing lead vocals and rock solid guitar work, you have an incomparable CD offering a pleasantly unique mix of genres that include rock, soul, pop, blues, and a hint of country. Whether you want a classic, toe-tapping mix of rock and blues, or are more in the mood for poetic lyrics set to music that stirs the soul, Man in the Wilderness is the CD for you – and one in which listeners will find emotion, peace, and the meaning of life, just as Frank Bradford captures it into this fascinating musical masterpiece so aptly titled, Man in the Wilderness.

It's the way you play that makes it . . . Play like you play. Play like you think, and then you got it, if you're going to get it. And whatever you get, that's you, so that's your story. -- Count Basie
