I am an actor, writer, and improvisor. I was a castmember on the FOX show MADtv for two seasons until I got fired for being too awesome? Maybe not. Actually I didn’t get fired my contract didn’t get renewed. I am not the guy who did the Madden or Bush impression, that’s Frank Caliendo. In fact, I don’t do impressions, well at least none worth noting. Okay, I have a pretty good Jar Jar Binks, but that’s about it. Oh, and I’ve been working on a David Archuleta getting a hand job impression.
Other Film/TV appearances include: Reno 911, Stranger than Fiction, The Lakehouse, and Bad Meat. I am an alumnus of The Second City Chicago. During my career at the Second City, I performed at the Flamingo Las Vegas, wrote and performed in two original revues for the Second City etc., and toured for over two years where he performed everywhere from Vienna, Austria to Beloit, Wisconsin. During my tenure in the touring company, I performed twice at The Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, South Carolina and had the honor of entertaining the US Troops for a USO tour in Bosnia, Kosovo, and Germany. I have also performed improv/sketch at many other places including: ImprovOlympic, io west, ComedySportz Chicago, etc. I’ve done over two dozen commercials including ads for McDonalds, Petsmart, Toyota, DnL (A new soda by 7up that didn’t last long), Hampton Inn, among others.
Currently, I perform with Matt Craig in Frankenmatt Present:Pilgrimage-we’ll be performing an all new sketch show starting Sept 20 at Second City Studio Theatre in Los Angeles. I am lucky to be a part of another group called DITKA which performs wednesday nights at 10pm SCLA.
