obama wins! yay!! but now for some bad news........ Body: florida and arizona supported same-sex marriage bans.. california,prop 8 #'s are still coming in,and it doesnt look good...meaning,all of the same sex marriages that were performed there are now null and void...according to exit polls,blacks were far more likely than whites or hispanics to support the ban,and age was a major factor as well,most being over 60. Larry Flick from sirius outq radio said that it is dissappointing when those that were once discrimated against are now the discriminating,and i agree.

in arkansas,voters approved a measure banning unmarried couples from serving as adoptive or foster parents.
we need to contact our state representatives and fight for our rights!!!!!
some bright points:
colorado and south dakota rejected bans on abortion. if the ban did go as planned,it would have defined life as starting from point of conception.
washington became the 2nd state,after oregon,to offer terminally ill patients physician assisted suicide.
Hi everyone, How do you get Frank to answer a question? I emailed him, Doria, and Hillary on June 30 (see below) and no one wants to answer me. I was just trying to understand why it was funny for gay stutterers to be in the Pride Parade and perhaps start a dialog. The gay and stuttering communities have much to learn frome each other, but narrow-minded-ness on both sides hurts everyone.
This was my message to Mr. DeCaro and Ms. Biddle:
Frank,
I didn't hear what you said because I was at work, but my partner called me and told me you thought it was funny that there was a contingent for gay stutterers in the New York Gay Pride Parade. I'd like to find out what was so funny, and just what you said. The gay and stuttering communities have alot to learn from each other, including dealing with narrow-mindedness and prejudice. I would hope that someone in your position would understand this and be more open. You can follow the link below to the Passing Twice website to read more about our group and what we have to offer. I would hope you would do that, and become more informed before you make fun of other groups.
