    FrankenMatt's Interests
GeneralFrank Caeti and Matt Craig started working together in 2001 when they were both cast in The Second City National Touring Company. They toured all over the world and then wrote two revues for Chicago’s Second City Theater on their resident company e.t.c. stage. They have been threatening to do a two-man show together since 2002, and while they maintained a close personal and professional relationship, it wasn’t until December 2007 that it can to fruition. FrankenMatt was born with the long form improvisation they created called Pilgrimage. FrankenMatt Presents: Pilgrimage performed to rave reviews at festivals and theaters all over the country. Nearly all of their sketch material was created through improvisation and things originally improvised. As an ensemble they have performed in Seattle, Chicago, Charleston, Toronto, Denver, and Los Angeles. FrankenMatt have and are currently collaborating on a Pilot, Pilot treatment, Screenplay, Jingles, a Hip Hop album and anything else that might help us catch a break in this fickle and mercurial world of Entertainment.

FRANK CAETI grew up in the Chicago suburbs and graduated from Colorado State University. Frank spent two seasons as an ensemble member on the FOX show MADtv. Other tv/film credits include: Reno 911, NCIS, TV Guide Channel, The Jay Leno Show, The Lakehouse, Stranger than Fiction, Bad Meat, and numerous commercials. At The Second City, Frank did a two and a half years in the Touring Company and performed on two resident company stages (e.t.c & Las Vegas). He performed in a nonverbal sketch comedy show called Reverie at the 2009 Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. He is a founding member of the improvisational troupes Whose Chorus Line is it Anyway?, DITKA, and The Hot Karl. Other theater/improv credits include: The Armando Show, ComedySportz Chicago, Bills and Caeti, iO, UCB Los Angeles, and Chicago Dramatist’s Workshop. Frank had the honor of entertaining on a USO tour in Bosnia, Kosovo, and Germany. In 2009, he traveled to China where he performed improv in Shanghai, Beijing, and Hong Kong.

MATT CRAIG spent three years as a resident company member of The Second City in Chicago (e.t.c. and Mainstage), where he wrote and performed three original revues. Previous theater credits include: The Annoyance, iO, Disney Cruise Lines, and Dudley Riggs’ Brave New Workshop before joining The Second City Touring Company in 2001. TV credits include: The Office and According to Jim. He spent a couple years performing on Norwegian Cruise Lines traveling to such exotic ports of call as Istanbul, Venice, Barcelona, Cartagena, and Ketchikan, AK, where he was fortunate enough to see The Bridge to Nowhere not being built. He began his career at Washington University with the troupe Mama’s Pot Roast. He moved to California in August 2007, and is happy to call Los Angeles home.
