Frank Caeti and Matt Craig started working together in 2001 when they were both cast in The Second City National Touring Company. They toured all over the world and then wrote two revues for Chicago’s Second City Theater on their resident company e.t.c. stage. They have been threatening to do a two-man show together since 2002, and while they maintained a close personal and professional relationship, it wasn’t until December 2007 that it can to fruition. FrankenMatt was born with the long form improvisation they created called Pilgrimage. FrankenMatt Presents: Pilgrimage performed to rave reviews at festivals and theaters all over the country. Nearly all of their sketch material was created through improvisation and things originally improvised. As an ensemble they have performed in Seattle, Chicago, Charleston, Toronto, Denver, and Los Angeles. FrankenMatt have and are currently collaborating on a Pilot, Pilot treatment, Screenplay, Jingles, a Hip Hop album and anything else that might help us catch a break in this fickle and mercurial world of Entertainment.
