Very Varied. See our webzine, www.puremusic.com. The
Movies
Favorites still remain The Godfather, Pulp Fiction, The Dead Zone, and Ghost Dog. Once Upon A Time In America, Goodfellas, Closer, a lot of them. But most of them blow.
Television
Grey's Anatomy, LOST, The Shield, The Simpsons; after that, aside from The Brotherhood on Showtime, it's all about HBO. I miss Deadwood, The Sopranos, Six Feet Under and Rome. I dig Entourage, Big Love and John From Cincinatti, but not as much as those other shows. But my favorite TV stuff of all time is BBC stuff: dramatizations of the John LeCarre books with Alec Guiness, Smiley's People and Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy and later A Perfect Spy, sans Alec G. Also loved all the Prime Suspect series with Helen Mirren.
Books
Eckhart Tolle, The Power Of Now. New favorite is John Burdett, author of multiple comic thrillers that take place in Bangkok; Haruki Murakami, Annie Proulx. John Le Carre, John Irving, Walter Mosley, Cormac McCarthy..
About me: I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
I'm a songwriter, and have always been. I'm the co-founding editor of Puremusic (http://www.puremusic.com) a webzine that's 6 years old and a million hits a month. (My brother Jon is the publisher, sister Kate and her husband Max are the designers.) We recently started doing Puremusic Television, be sure to check out the LUKE DOUCET videos in the current issue, and the SARAH SISKIND videos in the archives, they're Great! Now we have a number of video interviews and Puremusic.com Presents performance shows in editing that will appear soon on the Net while we pitch to cable. We're just getting started. My sister Kate Greenstreet is a poet and a painter (Check out "Case Sensitive" on Ahsahta Press), my brother Billy is a slide guitar wonder and singer songwriter in Germany (www.myspacemusic.com/billygoodman), we played together a lot of our lives. My brother Jon is the Don and a creative entrepreneur, his latest project is doing Access Hollywood: China in the PRC. My sister Kelley is a mom in CA who works all the talent at shows like the CMA's. My brother Mike was a jazz loving Vet who OD'd in SF a few years back. I am who I am because of where I come from. I have been in plenty of tight spots and far from home with no money, and have lived a life made of good friends, tight family, and blessings beyond description. Every day is a wonder, and a gift, and I'm grateful for every moment and that gratitude makes my life what it is.
Who I'd like to meet: Eckhart Tolle. Creative people. Compelling people. Good people. Fun people. And others.
