I got my start in the music industry in the early 90s designing and wiring pro studios and location recording rigs for artists like Perry Farrell, Filter and John Paul Jones. For several years I worked as second engineer on records for Frank Black, Belinda Carlisle, Mike Watt and John Mayall. It was during this time when I also did extensive artist development for L.A.s Powder and future Grammy Award winning band, Train.
As an engineer and mixer, I joined forces with producer Scott Humphrey, and worked with acts like Rob Zombie, Powerman 5000, BT, The Crystal Method, A Perfect Circle, Tommy Lee, Static-X, Coal Chamber, The Dandy Warhols, 58 (NIKKI SIXX) and many others.
I have recently co-written and produced the latest releases for the Native American-fronted band, THE REMOVAL ACT, young prog-rockers, the SOULJOURNERS (74 minutes of fist-raising rock--can you handle it?) and JAGGER COOK. I'm very excited about an upcoming record from Vancouver-based band, THE TURN. Also--my co-producer in crime, STEVER has a new CD out now that is, well...pretty obnoxious sounding (in a good way!)
When I'm not making noise, I write for Recording Magazine...usually about my misadventures in the studio, if that's at all interesting to anyone out there.
Helo Frank Gryner, thx 4 friendship, your great work, both with your and Stever productions, really like your music. Wellcome to my space and I wish you a great weekend, stay in touch. Grettings from Spirrow with Starstoft in Sweden
Hey Frank Thanks for adding me. So how have you been? Sorry for writing to you a little late, things' been hectic around here. Hope all is well and you are having a great weekend so far! Rock N Rebel ;)

Thank you for the add! :-) Often if only one or two musicians work on a production it will get not the same cool feeling like a whole band play their instruments. But you and Stever are able to produce a kind of grandiose music! ! ! We love "Playground Isolator"! Respect!
