I am a work in progress, a woman still trying to find my way in this world. I still believe in fairytale romance...although Im more skeptical and cautious now. I believe I loved deeply in every relationship Ive had... but gave my soul only once. I am in the process of reclaiming my shine and it grows brighter, stronger with more clarity everyday. My heart is on my sleeve and several times its been broken... but I have learned to gather my pieces, tape it back together and return it to my sleeve because it belongs no other place.

The older I get, the less tolerant I have become but when I see great potential, I expect nothing less and I will never ask for any more than I am willing to give. You will never wonder where you stand with me... I will always let you know. I feel if you are honest with a person about what you feel and where you're at...then they can always make an educated decision based on if that is where they still want to be... and I think thats fair. I would like to believe that the unguarded, emotional honesty is attainable and believe the last person you should have to feel guarded with is your lover.

I hate to be left hanging..it irritates me to no end!! I love honeysuckle flowers... red wing blackbirds, California, the mountains and the ocean, snuggling on the couch with a blanket watching a movie with the person i love, watching the "L Word", most reislings, drumstick ice cream at night and the song "At Last" is my idea of what love is about. I cut my hair when I get anxiety, rock when im nervous or upset and write songs or blogs for balance, grounding and clarity.
