Sounds Like
Goldfrapp, Kate Bush, Cardigans, Garbage, Morcheeba - a combination of all the above or something completely different!
Fresh from the studio with three brand new tracks, first one uploaded here as a teaser for your listening pleasure: 'What's not to love?' - we teamed up with mad professor type producers from Finland who think it's really 'slamming'. Let us know what you think! ;)
So it seems someone must have been jealous of our little page - our myspace was hacked in by some crazy person who seemed to get their kicks out of erasing all our info and friends. Beats me, really, but there are freaks out there.
We will be rebuilding a bigger better page, in the meantime you can find out more about us on www.frankielovesyou.com.
In the meantime, here's a nice review from www.musicOMH.com:
'Sassy vocals, the perfect blend of cool detachment and surprising warmth. A barbwire kiss. This three piece are Blondie jamming with PJ Harvey; pop melodies and razor sharp guitars. Jane Martin's vocals can switch from coy Kate Bush to the harsher shades Courtney Love.
Glory Days builds from switchblade guitars via strings and a beautiful acoustic coda - all in less than it takes make a cup a tea. That's classic pop suss. Coast is The Organ's brittle rock given a lesson in pure pop hooks. It's as fresh and as exciting as downhill skiing in the buff - Tony Heywood'
Thank you for accepting the request , right now there's only few songs from the rehearsal with bad quality uploaded , In this weeks I will upload 3 new demo songs and the Album will be out this spring! stay tunned!
Muchas gracias por aceptar la petición , Ahora mismo el perfil se encuentra prácticamente vacío con unos temas grabados del ensayo pero al final de esta semana estaran subidas tres nuevas demos. Estad atentos! TODAY IS MINE
I’m just sending a little message around as we have a question and we want to ask our friends for input.
We cannot decide whether to release the Album in late May or June. We plan to tour from mid May and the argument is that if we release in June we can tie the release into the fan build from the tour, but it might get squashed with all the Summer and festival releases, however, if we release in May it might have less competition but we won’t have the tour working yet to promote it.
What do you think? I’d love to hear your opinion on this.
Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.

It’s been far too long since I last said hello and so much has happened I thought it about time we said did.
We’ve changed a lot, now we are an “UltraModern, post-electro rock, post-nu rave behemoth where Muse and Mansun meet a Massive Attack with Duran Duran pop sensibilities, louder guitars, and a stunning female front person/guitar virtuoso”, or so we have been told.
I’d love to know what you’ve been up to since we disappeared into the dark damp studio cave, let us know how it’s going, I’m always up for a chat! Be good, and if you can’t be good, be lucky ;-) Dawn xx Scarlet/blonde
