Within the soul of Frankie Russo was born a passion to create harmonies to be shared by all. Born at sunrise, his life emanates a dream for the future. The very core of his being is filled with a sense of powerful emotion, talent and determination. As a child he was captivated by the sounds of his Grandfathers mandolin. This curiosity was nurtured into a new world of expression, which continues to develop with each passing moment. He combined his talents with four other artists sharing the same determination and talent and the band Manic, originally known as Shed, was formed. They played throughout Long Island and New York City top rock bars. Winners of the 2001 Long Island Music Festival, they showcased at the Toronto Music Conference. Together for seven years, Manic shone bright and entertained countless fans. To keep in tune with the changing times, and a loss of the lead singer, a new band, Last breath, evolved. This sparked a new musical expression. Exploring different styles of music and projecting new attitudes, this original band intrigued the emotional needs of its followers. Presently, Frankie Russo is exploring a new venue. Incorporating the inner emotions, which are felt by all but rarely spoken, he hopes to touch the hearts and souls of listeners Frankie is currently working on his solo album with Charlie Moratta, an accomplished producer. Charlie Moratta has been awarded multiple gold and platinum records and reels for his production efforts with several artists. Resulting from this duo Together, Frankie and Charlie desire to release music, which will last for generations to come.
