About me:
I have played guitar in various bands in the Hull area for the past %$^%years and always liked my music 'live'. see...... http://www.punk77.co.uk/groups/revolt_strangeways.htm...... Recently as my more 'grown up' band activities have reduced, I've taken to the local open mic night circuit and been blown away by the high quality of Hull's unsigned, unassuming, un 'other stuff' talent. I decided to start my own open mic night at The Blue Bell Inn, Cottingham 3 miles North West of Hull city centre. Manager Andy provides a great venue and hospitality and is seriously pro music. Andy welcomes acoustic musicians who choose to simply turn up and busk in the bar (function bookings permitting) 'FACE THE MUSIC'@ THE BLUE BELL is EVERY OTHER WEDNESDAY. THE HULL DAILY MAIL publishes DATES & DETAILS OF GUESTS in the 'WHAT'S ON LISTINGS' Check the night out and enjoy some really accomplished musicians in a pleasant atmosphere with my commitment to provide a really good stage sound.Who I'd like to meet:
More musicians who are looking for an outlet. -Singers, songwriters, instrumentalists, cover versionists... or any combination of the four. Blues, Folk, Rock, Jazz, Funk, Indie, World etc etc etcDetails
