My name is Frank Mazzeo and I make things. Often these things are records. Sometimes these records are my own. More often as of late, these records are the records of others. I am a facilitator of sorts. I am an enabler. I am an Interpreter / Translator. I am a teammate, pupil, referee, and /or cheerleader (no). I am a 'presenter of options'. I am an audio engineer working in conjunction with London Bridge Studios, as well as working Independent/ Freelance, & owner/chief engineer of ‘push/pull,’ a lovely red colored space for sound recordings....
The past 10 years I’ve been engineering and mixing records, starting with my own and then moving into a position where I had gained the experience necessary to help others. Recently, I have had the opportunity to work with ESPN, Ima Robot/Lukas Haas, Fleet Foxes, Denison Witmer/James McAlister (Sufjan Stevens), MXPX, Common Market, Joey Jordison (Slipknot / Ministry), Viper Creek Club, 3 inches of Blood, DJ Craze, Tysen (Holyfield), Anberlin, ENdLESS, Good Charlotte, Stargrass (Ted Wallis), & The Beautiful Confusion. I am always looking for new bands/musicians to work with and would love to hear from you….
I’ve been studying music in one way or another since the age of Eight, when I graduated from banging on a phone book with borrowed drum sticks & began programming & banging on my first Mattel Synsonics Drum Machine. The electronic drums were great until Billy Jefferson stole them. Fortunately for me, Santa Claus, who is a fake, had just brought me an actual Sears ‘Black Hawk’ 5 piece Drum set. I then stopped playing soccer.
