Franklin Taggart is a singer/songwriter originally from Wyoming and through a long series of relatively happy accidents, now lives about 10 miles from the nation's capitol. He wears denim, polar fleece, furry moccasins and Gold Toe socks. His first CD was a rather terse and serious affair. He's over it.
Due to an ongoing relationship with tendonitis, Franklin rarely performs more than a few songs a night any more. He does record a lot of stuff at home and has a new electronic music project under way called the Steep Learning Curve Experiment. Coming soon to a MySpace near you.
He spends most of his time now playing with his son Bodhi Jack and giving guitar lessons.
I am flattered and honored that you would be so thoughtful to alert me of such a great loss. As you know, Vern was a huge inspiration to me, as well as anyone whose ears were forever changed by his rich, pure, and golden VOICE. What joy and healing he brought to my life. R.I.P. Brother Gosdin. "Is it raining at your place, just like it is over here? If it is, then Franklin, like me I know you're sacred. I just called you to console you, like any old friend would do. Is it raining at your house? And by the way...I still love you." -Chris
