Franklyne nous propose aujourd’hui avec Nouveau Scénario, un album chaud et dansant qu’elle réalise et produit : des nouvelles chansons pop à saveur latine qui tanguent entre la valse, la cha cha, la samba et la rhumba.
A unique, musky voice: sensual and powerful in English, French and Spanish.
Her life’s journey: peace, love, social justice and environmental respect.
Sa voix unique et musquée interprète en français, en espagnol et en anglais, les mots que sa poésie du quotidien traduit en langage direct, qui parle de justice sociale, de cheminement personnel, de paix et de respect de l’environnement.
En 1980, elle enregistre deux disques : le maraudeur et térapi primal avec son groupe punk-latin TÉRAPI qui sera engagé pour jouer en première partie des spectacles de Nina Hagen et Gang of Four.
Releasing two albums with her Punk-Rock group Terapi then opening for Nina Hagen in Montreal and Quebec City. Later getting recruited as a main performer in Michel Lemieux’s world tour, Mutation, all this between 1980- 1989.
Releasing the album: Frankline et les Fleurs
Sauvages as well as two music videos in 1992.
En 1992, elle réalise et produit les deux vidéoclips et l’album éponyme Frankline et les fleurs Sauvages dont six extraits seront diffusés à travers tout le Canada et que la Warner Brothers France distribuera en Europe. Cette même chanson deviendra la chanson thème du premier événement underground artistique multimédia de Montréal : le Rock’a’Tchooka.
Astounding audiences in 2000 by performing 7 different roles in Norman Nawrocki’s Cirque en $Cash, a musical theatre production about globalization. Writing and recording music in 2003 for two documentaries: Richard Boutet’s prize-winning Sexe de rue and Marie-Josée Ferron’s Rainbow Pride. Four of her songs were included in the soundtrack of Micheal P. Delay’s feature film Frail.
