Frank Maurel prepares new release for Unless (Unless003)
Frank Maurel is back on the job with a brilliant pumping excursion and body-shaking " Brain Wash" on the A side. This muscled track drops dirty and tense beats over a persuasive fat bassline and acid-infused loops to liberate magic drops and increase the synths climax. A pearl for the big rooms! " Hope this Feeling" on the other side starts things with melodic and dreamy keyboard workout without forgetting groovy basslines until the vocals blends into dark synth loop and drives the whole track to hypnotic sensations

Frank Maurel will be one of the few portuguese artist attending this Year's Winter Music Conference in Miami, between March 23rd and March 28th. During the WMC 09 Frank will be performing at Discotekka ( Downtown Miami) on day 24th and Vice Cameo (South Beach Miami) on day 26th. Two perfect gigs to present his forthcoming productions:

On Day 10th of January takes place the first Unless Records label night party @ Gare Club in Oporto! This is UNLESS WHAT?.
As it says on the label introduction: " Unless Records is a brand new portuguese label. This is all about what we like to dance unless you got no dancing abilities! What ever we call it: house, deep house or techno, Unless keeps in mind the evolution of music and focuses on releasing every type of Quality dance music from every good artist. NYE PARTIES
The NYE parties always have that hectic and symbolic impact in our agendas. This is the night people want to party hard. So there will be 2 distinct parties. The first one will be at Mitto Club in Ermesinde with my friends Serginho, Richard Jay, Bruno Santana and Nuno Silva for a 100% quality music show. I'll be playing from 3am to 5/6am. Then for those who need to finish the night in big style, I'll be at Espaço Tomate in Porto ( Zona Industrial) with an "after hour" schedule from 9am to 12am. Are you ready?

The A side proposes "Welcome to the moon", a pure underground anthem with his instantly recognisable and wicked drum programming style. Then the track drops a huge and energetic bass line with a screaming 90s rave-influenced synth loop. The dark voice rises among random effects giving that spacey atmosphere when the break push it up to the standout climax. Are you house heads ready for this?
The B side drives us to another planet "MARS".This progressive-tech track stands into dark-prog line. Packed with loud bass this is another big room tune that everybody should play. The bass line rolls on a simple drum pattern giving to the synth the main objective to make you shout. Then the whole track is served up by a constant acid line creating a sinister feeling to this club monster.

Talk To me is one of a hell release gathering some of the most talented artist at this moment: Kobbe the producer of hits like Body Shaker on Star69 remixer for Antoine Clamaran, Frank Maurel from Sondos Lajja and remixer for Stereo, Carlos Fauvrelle artist of Stereo Prod, Twisted and That Kid Chris for the remix work.
