FranKo are a young four piece band from South London.
They formed in October 2007 and have already made their mark on the UK music scene, turning the heads of audiences and people in the industry. They’ve been gigging in and around London including twice at The Indig02 @ the O2 (playing to a crowd of over a thousand), The Metro (r.i.p) as part of the City Showcase, twice at The Astoria 2 (r.i.p), and also venues like The Garage, Nambucca (r.i.p) and the ULU Barfly (which is luckily still standing...)
FranKo also toured Thailand last summer, and grabbed great attention from the press and radio media, as well as appearing live on MTV. Recently they’ve been gigging in America and doing press and promo work in New York, as well as playing to a crowd of 7000 at the Crystal Palace Bowl in South East London.
Through October they’ll be working in the studio on some amazing new material for their debut album which is due out in March 2010 and then in November they go out on tour throughout the UK with Elliot Minor on The Solaris Tour! Come down to a gig and see the band live. They’ve been working with some great producers including Jim Lowe (recent producer for Stereophonics), Dario Dendi (who has worked with The Killers, Oceansize, Franz Ferdinand) and Jason Wilcock (Fightstar and You Me At Six among others). Their track ‘Night Time’ is now available in iTunes and at over 250 on-line stores worldwide.

It's a (big) pity because i'm coming over from australia, to scotland then england, on the 23rd of ..il the 16th of jan, which means I won't get to see you play :( I've always really wanted to but oh well. It's been just over a month, but I had a great night at the Wedgewood Rooms In Southsea, Portsmouth. Thank-you for a wicked night, I hope to see you live again sometime.
Just wanted to tell you how amazing you are ;) Saw you whilst you were on tour with Elliot Minor and I'm so glad you were one of their support bands as I discovered one of the most amazing bands ever that night!! ;] Hope to see you on your own tour soon and can't wait till your album comes out. my gosh, you guys rocked it at the edinburgh gig! loving your stuff! and i love the whole revenge on ed minton thing, me and my sister phoned him that night! :D also, is it true that tommy used to live in surrey? if it is that's awesome because i did too :) i hope i get to meet beau next time you come, he's the only one i haven't met. :D

Hey Guys! How are you all?? You were Seriously Amazing last night in Edinburgh! Shame the tours over now.. :( Thanks so much for meeting Fans, I'm sure it made lots of peoples night, not just my own! I was the girl who asked Tommy to record him proposing to my friend and got you to try on my friends glow stick glasses :)
